Millie Rounsville, CCAP
Chief Executive Officer
Millie Rounsville has been the CEO of Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency (NWCSA) since 2006. Prior to being the CEO she served as a planner for nearly 10 years at the organization. During that time she was instrumental in planning, designing, developing and implementing many of the programs, services and housing activities currently managed by NWCSA.
A native of Poplar Wisconsin she holds a degree in Applied Science from Northwood Technical College (formerly WITC) and has completed additional certifications in Economic Development, Non-Profit Management and Leadership. In 2018 she achieved her Certified Community Action Professional.
In additional to her work within the organization she also services on the WISCAP Board of Directors, the Wisconsin Balance of State Continuum of Care Board of Directors, the Patient Advisory Council for St. Marys’ Hospital, the Douglas County Drug Prevention Coalition, the Anti-Poverty Action Coalition as well as a variety of other committees and task forces related to our work.
In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and being “out in the country”.
Mary has been the WIC Director since 2003 and started as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist in 1988. Her job continues to include the above roles and serving in the Fit Families Program. Mary has worked to create a safe and supportive environment for our families. Outside of work Mary loves walking, reading and spending time with family.
Alexis has been with the WIC Program since September 2009. Her main role is WIC Dietitian, with a focus on nutrition education materials, is a Fit Families Coach and also works with the WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program each summer/fall. Beyond her work for WIC, Alexis enjoys accompanying her kids to the ice rink, baseball diamond, soccer and lacrosse fields – and cheering LOUD as their #1 fan!
Breastfeeding Peer Counselor
Nicole has been the Breastfeeding Peer Counselore for WIC in Douglas County since 2016. She has a passion for all things birth, baby and family related. She strives to create an inclusive space for families to connect in our community both virtually and in person. At home, Nicole is a wife and mother of 9 children. She loves music and reading.
WIC Lactation Counselor
Sarah has been working for WIC in Douglas County since 2004. Helping families experience breastfeeding success and creating a community where breastfeeding is seen as normal are a big part of her role. Sarah is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Memory Lane Day Services
Dianne has been with NWCSA since 1984 in various program roles from WIC and Judicare to bookkeeping. In 1996 she started managing what was then known as “Trends and Traditions” and eventually became Memory Lane after expanding beyond Hawks Hall at UWS. Dianne accepted the Director’s position in 2001 and enjoys crafts, family time, and camping every weekend of the summer in her camper.

I have been working for the homeless here in Superior since June of 2011 after being homeless myself. It has been very fulfilling to me to be able to help people with resources to get a job or a place to live. I have also been involved with a couple of organizations; A.P.A.C – the Anti-Poverty Action Coalition; Fostering Futures and the WI Interagency Council on Homelessness . I have had training on Mental Health First Aid as well as training with A.C.E.S. – Adverse Childhood Experiences and Trauma Informed Care that I use often with my clients. I am thrilled being a part of Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency and to be at The Solid Rock Safe Haven as it’s Shelter Manager.
I have been with NWCSA since 2005. Thirty five years of experience in case management.

Beth has been with RSVP since 2008 starting as the Volunteer Coordinator and being promoted to Program Director in 2012. She is also the Program Coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for the Ashland office since 2010, Outside of work, she is raising two daughters with her husband and has a passion for history.
Mary Kay Foley
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Administrative Assistant
I have worked, part time, for NWCSA-RSVP since November of 2012 as the administrative assistant in the Ashland office. My job involves tracking the RSVP volunteers who work at various sites throughout a 4-countly area, making sure their files on the computer and the hard copies are up-to-date. I also do outreach to encourage new individuals to volunteer by organizing and setting up booths at area health fairs and Expos. Other job duties involve creating in office documents, generating our newsletter, assisting with the VITA program and doing any other job duties that come my way. My background varies from education to home health care to office work. When I am not in office I enjoy gardening, flowers mostly, in the summer and seeing the grandkids anytime during the year.
Coordinated Entry Specialist
From Homeless to Helping! Brett moved to the Twin Ports in 2000 and ended up homeless. Since then, Brett has committed himself to helping others thrive and succeed. Through education and firsthand knowledge, he is working to become the best he can be.
When Brett is not working, he enjoys playing in his greenhouse and quiet fires with his significant other & close friends.
